Queensland Health’s The Centre for Palliative Care Research and Education presents Walawaani Conference 2024. Funding is offered for a number of regional and remote Indigenous Health Professionals to attend. Walawaani means ‘we hope you have a safe journey home’ in Dhurga language. Gathering palliative and end of life care leaders and amplifying First Nations voices and program initiatives, Walawaani conference aims to deliver a holistic sharing of knowledges and wisdom to support the returning to Spirit journey for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, families and communities.
