This introductory workshop introduces the principles of trauma informed care and explores practical techniques for the aged care sector.

The discussion will highlight the Principles of a Trauma Informed approach, that is safe and responsive to the intersecting identities of the seniors we work with. We will also explore how trauma and diversity has a direct link to The Diversity Framework.

She works internationally on 3 continents and has been coaching, training and guiding leaders and staff in countless Organisations to be more highly performing for over 3 decades.

This training is a National Sector Support collaboration between Inclusive and Diverse Communities (IDC), Ethnic Communities Council of NSW, Orange City Council and Live Better Aged Care.
