Join us for a practical 2.5-hour online dementia training session designed for aged care professionals supporting people living with dementia in community settings.

Facilitated by experienced clinicians, this session will focus on delivering person-centred, strengths-based dementia care, aligned with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, the Aged Care Act and the Statement of Rights.

Participants will:
• Understand dementia prevalence and reform expectations
• Learn how to balance risk, dignity and supported decision-making
• Consider how they identify and act on identified changes and when additional support is needed
• Explore professional boundaries and worker self-care
