Be Prepared: Home care sustainability and mergers in light of industry reform and consolidation
The home care sector is facing turbulent times, with many providers concerned about their sustainability. Home care reforms, which are seeking to strengthen provider governance and give consumers a greater say represent a fundamental shift for many providers’ service/business models. This shift and increasing compliance are coming just as high inflation and workforce shortages are starting to bite.
This webinar will explore the big picture and sustainability challenges driving industry consolidation. Attendees will gain an improved understanding of why providers are pre-emptively or reactively preparing to merge. We will explore the process and what that looks like from a strategic and legal perspective. For those not wishing to merge, we will also explore alternatives to mergers (e.g. alliances, shared services). This will help you assess how to prepare your organisation for the challenges ahead.
Key takeaway from the webinar:
- Understand the big picture and drivers for home care industry consolidation.
- Understand alternative business models for improving sustainability.
- Understand the practical steps/processes for considering and implementing a merger.
- Understand how you can prepare your organisation for the possibility of a merger.
