The conference theme ‘Meeting the moment. Shaping the future.’ A moment denotes a point in time, and we are meeting the moment. A moment defined by once-in-a-generation reform, growing expectations, and a renewed commitment to supporting older Australians through every stage of ageing.
As we stand at this critical point, we have the opportunity to reflect on what matters most and to shape a future that empowers people to age well, with dignity, purpose and choice.
This year’s conference explores how we meet the needs of older people across the full continuum of ageing, from active, independent living to complex care and everything in between. It’s a chance to consider how we stay responsive to the changing landscape, embracing innovation in care models, digital solutions, design, workforce, culture and community.
By meeting the moment with insight, compassion and creativity, we boldly shape a future that delivers better outcomes for older Australians and for all of us as we age.
