Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Safety Training

In these modules organised by Sydney North Health Network (SNHN), you will gain in-depth knowledge and skills in addressing and working with patients from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage, providing a culturally respectful environment.
We will explore an introduction to Working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People in Health Care Settings, Social and Emotional Wellbeing in Aboriginal Communities and Optimising Cultural Safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples in Health Care Environments.
THERE ARE THREE PARTS TO THIS TRAINING – 6 hours in total
All three modules MUST be completed in this order to successfully complete the training course:
- MODULE 1 – Online Training Module | 1 hour (Must be completed by 5pm 15 August 2022)
- MODULE 2 – Zoom meeting – Camera on for the duration (small group) | 3 hours
- MODULE 3 – Online Training Module | 2 hours
