National Apology Day is an important time to acknowledge how generations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have been affected by past Government policies and practices.
Link-Up (Qld) and the Queensland Performing Arts Centre are proud to present this free community event. This event is an opportunity to reflect on the significance of the National Apology, honour the resilience of Stolen Generations survivors and descendants, and contribute to the ongoing journey of truth, healing, and connection.
The event will be hosted by Geoff Richardson PSM (Meriam, Kuku Yalanji/Djabugay), with guest speakers Olga Havnen AM (Western Arrernte) and Queensland Family and Child Commissioner Natalie Lewis (Gamilaraay).
