Aged Care Diversity Framework
Overview
· Developed in consultation with consumers, providers, peak bodies and the aged care sector and published in December 2017.
· The framework outlines some of the barriers that prevent access to services and recommends strategies to address these specific needs.
· Service providers should be aware of the diverse experiences and backgrounds of older people to ensure that their services, policies and procedures are designed appropriately.
