This final session in our aged care webinar series builds on the foundational knowledge of at-home aged care services and funded programs explored in the first two webinars. With the upcoming implementation of the Support at Home Program on 1 November, this session will focus on what the reforms mean for patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Participants will gain clarity on how the new program will replace Home Care Packages, how eligibility and assessment will operate under the new system, and what changes existing Home Care Package recipients can expect. The session will also address the most frequently asked questions about aged care under the new Aged Care Act, equipping GPs and healthcare staff to guide patients with confidence during this period of transition.
