COTA along with Elder Abuse Action Network (EAAN) are developing awareness raising and educational material on Elder abuse – they are holding consultations nationally.  We are seeking people aged over 60 (or if a First Nations person, 45+) to participate in workshops to gather information which will guide and inform the development of these materials.

We are seeking responses to these questions:

How can frontline workers better support older people experiencing abuse?

What knowledge and skills do frontline workers need to develop and enhance to support older people experiencing abuse? 

The workshops are designed to:

• ensure all jurisdictions are represented
• hear from diverse voices of older people
• understand the complexity of those voices and the issues faced by older people.
