This online and free session is available for program participants only. \nThe world we operate in is becoming increasingly digitised.  Every new medical device\, monitor and communication device is digitally enabled and often mobile. Increasingly\, equipment such as wheelchairs and beds are actively broadcasting data\, all the while operating alongside an unmanaged ecosystem of smart devices being used by patients\, visitors\, family members\, staff and other third parties. As is the case in many other sectors\, the aged care sector is moving towards an inevitable digital ‘boom’. \nThe use of technology in the aged care sector has the potential to change the way providers deliver services and improve consumer outcomes. Organisations that view technology as an enabler of improvement and change are better positioned to be able to respond to change\, identify opportunities for improvement and continue to deliver high quality care. \nThis webinar will discuss the adoption of digital technology and innovation in aged care\, and why it is crucial for executive leaders and governing body members to lead the integration of digital technology in their service offerings. \nHear from aged care sector leaders and subject matter experts about: \n\nHow technology can be utilised to enable providers to deliver sustainable and high-quality services\, which result in high quality consumer and employee experiences\nThe role executive leaders and governing body members in creating an environment that supports the integration of innovative technology in order to achieve excellence in service delivery\nHow to engage all governing body members and executives in the uptake of new digital technology to provide leadership in implementation across the organisation\nHow to navigate through the complex environment of technology\n\nThe Governing for Reform in Aged Care Program webinars are run once a month and are the most popular of the learning activities offered as part of the Program. \nPlease note\, this event is only open to participants of the Governing for Reform in Aged Care program. Enrol in the program here  \nIf you are already a participant in the program\, register for this webinar here

In particular\, we would like to get your input for:\n\n\nthe statement signed by the governing body which will confirm whether the provider complied with its duties under the aged care legislative framework\nWhat kind of feedback and complaints have been received by providers on each service?\nHave there been any key improvements made to a service?\n\nAdditional Information \n\nIf you would like to participate in this workshop\, we would also appreciate the ability to contact you (if needed) if we encounter any specific issues during the build of the IT solution and need some advice. If we did need to contact you\n\nIt would be an informal chat on the telephone or you can tell us how you would prefer to be contacted.\nTimes we might need to reach out would be between March and May 2023 while the data collection tool is being developed.
