SUMMARY:ACQSC Bringing the Strengthened Quality Standards to life (webinar)
DESCRIPTION:This is a webinar for aged care providers. The Strengthened Quality Standards will replace the current Aged Care Quality Standards on 1 July 2025. \nHosted by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissioner\, Liz Hefren-Webb\, this webinar will cover: \n\nkey differences between the current Aged Care Quality Standards and the new Strengthened Standards\nhow compliance with the Strengthened Quality Standards will be a condition of registration in the new Aged Care Act for providers registered in categories 4\,5\,6\nhow the Commission monitors each registered provider’s compliance with their conditions of registration\, including compliance with the Strengthened Quality Standards.\n\nOur panel will also briefly cover the role of audit in registration processes. We hope at the end of the webinar\, providers will: \n\nunderstand how the strengthened Quality Standards can guide the provision of safe\, high-quality care\, and what they can do to prepare for implementation.\nunderstand how the Commission will monitor compliance with conditions of registration\, including the Strengthened Quality Standards.\nknow where to go for more information\, education and guidance.\n\nRegister here
